After never recieving a response to my letters, I decided I would take it up with the Better Business Bureau in their area. Here is the email I recieved from them which summarizes the complaint I filed. Scroll down to view the end result (click the link).

Summary Line: Tropical Lei offers tragic customer service, outright ignores customer inquiries.

Complaint Description: I mailed Tropical Lei two letters, standard U.S.P.S mail. Both letters went into detail about my customer service concerns and inquiries, yet Topical Lei ignored them. With the first letter they ignored, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking perhaps it was lost in the mail or innocently overlooked. I mailed them a new letter and a photocopy of the original. Still no response. I three weeks in between letter number one and letter number two. This was in October 2004. Amazingly, there has yet to be a response. I can't believe it.

Resolution Sought: I demand a formal apology and response to both of my letters. I would also, if possible, like them to send me a check or money order for the amount of my resources they wasted. That's two stamps ($0.37 each), three sheets of paper ($0.05 each), and two envelopes ($0.08 each). That's a total of $1.05. A copy of both letters can be made available upon request.
