The Better Business Bureau Drops the Hammer on Tropical Lei After I filed my complaint, apparently Tropical Lei's response to the BBB wasn't satisfactory. So much so, I suppose, that the Bureau ruled in favor of me (or, well, Htom). This is the rating they gave Tropical Lei for it's poor customer service:
As of this writing, and presumably still today, that rating still stands. This wouldn't be so impressive to me, had there been some precedent of BBB complaints against them. However, as you can see here, my complaint was the only one filed, and hence the sole reason for their poor performance:
That seems a little unfair for Tropical Lei, I suppose... but fuck, that's why you don't mess with a fake personality claiming to be a Gulf War vetera, right?
