HOW TO SUBMIT TEXTFILES
Submitting
to Impulse Reality is rather easy - assuming you use some common
sense (and even if you don't, we'll tell you all you
need
to know here), and almost gurantees your work will be released.
Just make
sure you follow these simple guidelines...
- All submissions must be submitted in textfile format.
I don't want Word/Wordperfect files, I don't
want HTML files, I don't want the file to be included in an email
body. I want
it sent to
me as a TEXTFILE (.txt) attatchment.
- Put your name/handle and title of textfile at the top of the text
attatchment.
This helps. You don't know how many people who aren't all that
bright actually fail to do this. It's also a good idea to include
your email
address in your file, if you want people to be able to contact
you.
- Try to keep all textfiles viewable 640x480 screen mode.
This isn't a must, but it will help me and get your work put
out faster. If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about,
just ignore
it, i'll do it for you. All released files will end up in 640x480
wether you do it or I do it, so try to gimme a break and do
it yourself.
- Email
your submission to linear@impulsereality.com
Yes, email me all submissions. Please don't
message me on AIM or ICQ and try to file send them to me. I
hate that, and
I end up forgetting
about them. Email them to me, dammit! And try to make the
subject something like "IR SUBMISSION". I get a lot
of email, folks, and I tend to overlook stuff that doesn't
stand out
