When I walk into a bar, nothing makes me sadder than watching multiple people drinking any type of light beer. Light beer is the asshole younger brother of real beer. Light beer is trashy and low in alcohol. Nobody wins. Sometimes I have a lapse in judgement or get stuck somewhere with no alternative and find myself drinking Miller Lite (don’t let the name full you, Lite actually means Light), and as ashamed as I am to admit that it happens, I understand that sometimes light beer must be consumed as a last ditch effort. But apparently there’s enough people in the beer-drinking world that regularly, willingly choose to drink light beer enough to make its production sustainable. That makes me sad.

i drink shitty light beer on the weekends sometime because you can drink it all day without getting too drunk and its like water
fuck you
amen. if you’re going to drink a beer, drink a real beer and not some light piss-water.
ian, you’re obviously not drinking for taste unless you like drinking piss, and since you’re stating you’re not drinking it to get drunk, why not just drink actual water?
light beer is okay when it’s free
In Europe they only sell Coors Light, no regular Coors.
While light beer does contain slightly less alcohol than regular beer, it also contains less calories. Because of the lack of calories, you are more likely to get drunk from drinking it. This is why Amstel Light is my drink of choice.
