my name is jer, but some of you computer losers might know me as linear for some odd reason.
i’m responsible for a small handful of websites on the internet, this particular one probably being the least interesting. but for some reason, you’re still visiting it. it doesn’t matter what i write in this sentence here, you’ll read it no matter what. the joke is on you!
i'm not going to chronicle every website i'm involved in here. some of them are embarrassing. but i will share some of my assorted projects, and social networking sites i'm on. most of these are also embarrassing.

i didn't much like the whole idea of twitter when i first looked into it, and i started up an account mostly as a joke. but not too long after that, i started to "get it," and now i tweet about all sorts of mundane things! go ahead and follow me, but you're mostly just going to get tweets about the Anaheim Ducks, politics, and super trivial details of my boring ass life.

after trying a thousand different ways to keep a normal wordpress-based blog, i realized i was pretty terrible and keeping a regularly updated blog and thinking of anything interesting to write. on top of that, i've always found blogs terribly self-indulgent and tacky. but as a twitter fan, i realized that maybe, just maybe, this stupid thing that we moronically call micro-blogging might be my thing. so here's the tumblr account i mostly post dumb images and videos i find, without having to come up with anything creative or original on my own!

i built this website a couple years ago because i'm a big hockey nerd. this is a place where me and some friends and other random punk rock kids talk about hockey. and punk rock. i guess the title of the site kind of discusses it all.

this is the record label i run. go buy some records. such bands as Defiance, Ohio; Ghost Mice, Saw Wheel, and more. mostly pop punk, accoustic punk, and indie.

Impulse Reality was an electronic online magazine (ezine) i edited that ran from 2000-2004 (and a breif comeback in 2005). it's really bad poetry and prose that me and a bunch of other people wrote when we were all too young to know better.

speaking of things i was too young to know better about, when i was really young, i started a a silly "hacker" (or "phreaker") website that was a knock off/spin off of a bigger, slightly better website. very very very occasional, i get interested in that kind of stuff again and spend a few weeks updating the site. but almost all of this stuff is terrible, outdated drivel that i created when i was a little kid. it's mostly embarassing. ezine, prank calls, and more.
